Back... stiff!
Urgh... had this stiff back since yesterday. I wonder what caused it, it's so uncomfortable! kinda brings my mood down :( Plus recently been having some difficulty in getting some good sleep. I always seem to wake up much earlier than usual and it's almost impossible to go back to sleep! sucks sucks sucks...
Well let's put that aside, cos i finally got my PAY! After WEEKS of waiting, i finally recieved my much needed money... but bloody hell, of all days they had to send it so that i get in on a friday. by the time i deposit my cheques i can only get the money from monday afternoon onwards... cunning bastards. Ah, doesn't matter, as long as i get my money, i'm happy.
Oh yes, yesterday was my first day of work at Porsche... actually to tell ya the truth, it didn't really start off as i thought i'd have expected. because i don't have any experience in mechinics, i couldn't really do much or be as much help either. All i could do was look and observe helplessly at the other guys doing their work. Although i was told to try and mix around a little, these guys... well they aren't really the socialable type, plus they're busy doing their own work, i had a hard time trying to so-called mix in. I felt so out of place as much as they see me. At least there was this assistant workshop manager who is more of the outgoing and friendly type, gave me some simple stuff to do once in a while and gave me a quick tour around the compound. Didn't know that somewhere in the compound houses the big boss's collection of cars and bikes, plus 3 Rolls Royce hidden from view. The only best thing about that day was the test ride in the Porsche Cayenne... man that car was big, powerful and smooth! although it was the base model, it already was packed full of gadgets and other electronic stuff... including a GPS navigation system! I never thought i'd ride in a Porsche... but that ride reassured me that i think i made the right choice to work in this line. :D
Today unfortunately was another umm... waste of time to make my presence there... that nice was on leave so i was pretty left alone almost the entire time. BUT nevermind, i still look forward to better days.
Feeling pretty restless, moody and the back... making me feel uncomfortable most of the time, just really didn't really feel like doing anything. Grrr... :S
