Where did u go again? haha... nah i don't wanna blog these days, well actually ya didn't feel like blogging this past week. I mean, usually this blog is for me to put up my frustrations, any upsetting issues, me blah whatever that's not-too-happy... well since i haven't been posting any, that means my life is currently... alright! for now lah. anyway yesh, right now i've started to clear my leave, only going back to camp maybe once or twice each week... well i only have like 3 weeks left HAHAHAHA. actually i could've started clearing leave sooner, if i had been given any off. i wasn't given any cos my fat black boss said that i should be thankful that he didn't charge me for failing my IPPT (oops). Oh, then all those outbase driving, overtime and shit i that put up with all gone to waste. Well, doesn't matter to me much now, i can convert my licence anyway! still need to get some paperwork done though... sigh.
Ah yes, my last duty... unfortunately i couldn't take eith Noby or Antis out that night. One of the reservist wanted Nobs while other was taken by the newbie... so who did i take? Dusty (no pics as yet, computer sort of got fucked again... more on that later). Actually i pretty like Dusty too, except that he's sometimes too playful with his own pee... anyway that night, omg he was exactly like Nobs. He doesn't bark at anything that passes by, walks so slow and when i sat down, he immediately does the same and falls asleep. And he's supposed to be under the "dangerous dog" category. With that bugger who doesn't wanna respond when he's sleep, how can i try to even stay awake all alone? So i joined him... zzz
The next morning, as i was the ahem, 'Loop IC' for the night, spent most of the time writing reports and blah shit. In the end, everything went pretty smooth, even got to fall out at almost record early time! haha... and well, that was it. No more wearing of that bulky SBO, no more struggling to stay awake while on duty... it's also goodbye to my beloved rifle no. DS49, that brought me $200 and a marksmanship badge. The only thing i miss about doing duty is spending time with the dogs, Noby and Antis. Mmm.
The following day was pretty much umm... nothing. On the evening before i start to clear leave, there was a surprise check done by the Military Police. I was like OMG my mp3 player! but i wasn't caught :op however, the others living upstairs our barrack wasn't so lucky, big stash of vcds, games, burnt software, 2 camera phones and whoa, uncensored pirated vcd. the last was major, those guys said that they would have to open up an investigation on who owned that vcd. After the the MPs left, the Officer Commanding of our sqn was well, simply upset, so he recalled everyone back to camp. Including our dog platoon guys, every single one of them. panic sia. he wanted to do another check on our cupboard, clean sweep any illegal items. of course almost everyone of us has at least 1 item that we were not supposed to bring in, like my T610 :p, burnt audio cds, porn comics lol.... oh and one of my dear fren had this big book of cds... all 300+ of them, in his cupboard. Oh yeah... full of tv dramas or whatever i can't remember. but he was let off. hey don't ask me why. After they were done with the search, we were then finally let go. by that time it was already freaking 8pm. while my guys were changing into uniforms dor duty, i was changing to cilivian clothes for home, ironic.
whoa, just after finishing that paragraph, my internet connection just went poof for a while. made me panic and all shit... 5hours later i'm back here, thank goodness i copied and saved my entry in time. Anyway yes, my computar. it's about 3 to 4 years old already, if you include the time it was first assembled by its first owner. Ever since i did that faithful mistake of... doing that particular thing to the computer, it has been cocking up quite a bit these days. just this morning i did it again, but ah, i did this on purpose. i had to find out what really went wrong... in the end the same happened. this time i knew what to do... as in to recover my stuff inside and i also concluded that it may not be my fault after all. could be the software flaw i presume... right now i couldn't care less. as long as i do anything drastic to this struggling machine, it should last me for at least a couple more months until i get a new and a much needed faster one.
Sigh... the past 2 days have been like... urgh utterly boring. job not found yet, too much free time... and i've been falling asleep quite often these days too. take today for example, i woke up at 6am, had some breakfast, went online and fell asleep at around 10am... woke up at 3pm to take lunch... after a while decided to head out... while on the bus i fell asleep again.... man, am i trying to recover all the loss of sleep over the past year? just now while i was trying to get back my connection i nearly fell asleep while waiting for the system to boot up.... which usually takes a minute.... 1 minute. and i almost had my head down against the keyboard right in front of me. what woke me up was the sudden recovery of my internet connection... and erm someone came online too :p
