The dream machine rages again

Mmm last week was busy at work... ah what's new. I managed to replace a pair of wishbone brackets... considered as one of the really difficult jobs as those nearly inaccessible nuts are almost impossibly tight. Seriously, it took me half an hour to remove them. Anyway, took an entire day to complete. The feeling? Utterly satisfied. :)

Went for another blading session at East Coast Park during the weekend, I think that pretty made up my mind to get my own pair of blades. With my own, I can go blading whenever I want, wherever I want, how long I wanna blade and wouldn't need to worry about having stinky feet afterwards. I was reeeeally close to getting one just after I got my pay, but i hesitate too much... beside if I had actually bought it during then, I would've been broke by now. Okok, next month me get me some blades for sure!!!

Just last night, i was staying up real late watching my favourite Discovery Channel and it was showing about the Ice Hotel in Finland. It's pretty cool, a hotel completely made from ice, sculpturers and artists brought in from all over the world to create and design the interior.... and when the season is done, the hotel simply melts away until the next season, when it is built once again. How nice it would be to go visit there with a someone... haha i can so imagine that right now. Travelling seem so fun, it one of the things that I would really wanna do in my life. After my Aussie trip 2 years back, I had thought about going backpacking there. Sydney was such an awsome city, the sights and sounds.... all these appeals to me so much. Then just now i was watching a show that was featuring London and that spurred me even more. I wanna find out how it is like to living in a real big city, with endless and confusing roads, complex rail systems, visiting awsome building structures... Mmmm...

And yes, after much consideration and thought, I would really wanna take up motor bike licence. Not that i like riding, but as a cheaper means of personal transport in the future. I mean look at now, every week i spend at least $10 getting to class and work and back. That would work out roughly about $50 a month, excluding the use of the car on weekends. Let's say I get a small bike, like those Malaysians scoot into here. $5-7 for a full tank that can last me for about a week or 5 days at least and cut down travelling time by A LOT. And if my friend doesn't mind, use it for weekends sometimes. What do you think? I know there are the dangers of bike riding on the roads, I did thought about that and that kept me away from it in the past, but now it's about time to start doing things to make my life easier. Getting a bike licence is relatively cheap too i read, a little over maybe $300 and 3 months later voila.

Me riding a Yamaha Spark with those helmet box behind, wearing a full face helmet, what da ya think? lol

I look at myself in the mirror....

... and suddenly this thought came into my mind....

Am I truly looking positively ahead all the time? Or am I actually running away?

Sigh.
