Oh! It's.... 2007 already!

LOL... oh my, when was the last time I entered an entry inside here? Frankly, I had literally forgetten that I had a blog here, but ah well, who reads it anyway! :p It wasn't until Stef went to a comment inside... which reached into my email and I was like "OH!"

Well, 2006 was... quite alright, but this new year started off rather... hmm. Was out with a couple of people during NYE and was stuck in the jam while trying to hehe... drive to a spot to see some fireworks action. We conveniently got stuck at a not a bad place, saw some good lights in the sky, hee.

Work-wise, things haven't been going smooth. There was a seminar held by BMW on the new Mini Cooper due to reach our shores somewhere in May... and they never let me go. :( But nevermind, was told that there's a Malaysian Rolls-Royce Phantom which is due for some major servicing, and my supervisor NEEDS me to go along. :D It's major alright, all the spare parts, equipment... BRAKE DISCS (one alone weighs about... 5kg? And we're gonna change... all 4?)... at the moment the trip is yet to be confirmed, how we're gonna go there (Alor Star I think), my boss says he hopes we can have a flight there... personally, I prefer to go by car.:D Mad eh me? I drive lah, aiyoh! lol...

Also in the works these days, I've been planning to build a D.I.Y. PC to replace this aging one I'm using. It's been working fine for a good solid I-dunno-how-many years and it is STILL going well... but I need something else to catch up with the increasing technology speed. So, since sometime last month, I started to slowly buy parts to be pieced together... right now most of the essentials are installed, currently doing some burn-in runs before I install the OS. So far what's inside the box is a AMD Athlon XP 3000+ Barton CPU, on a Gigabyte GA-7S748 mobo, a Cooler Master Aero 7 heatsink fan, with 256MB DDR PC3200 RAM installed (got a 512MB stick on standby, to be installed as well prior to installing the OS), GeForce 6200 256MB AGP x8 vid card and a 160GB Seagate IDE harddrive on hand. I've yet to get more stuff and arrange the cooling fans to complete the system... can't blow all my $$$ and eat grass for the rest of the month right? will show pics when everything is in place. :)

Been hanging out with some fun people too, especially with the ppl in the Cars@SGforums... suddenly dunno why got some many meetups lol... The VW Caddy is still going fine, recently gave it some wax treatment. Oh ya.... also been driving some Mini's on the road too (finally). Not used to being on lane 1, doing 100km/h lah! :p Also realized that I've been doing about 80 on the e-way.... when i thought I was doing the legal 70 for my car... omg I've been.... SPEEDING! YEEAHHHHHHHHH! >:D This coming Friday night there's ANOTHER forum meetup... and since bro is away in Thailand till weekend... weeee car is mine weeeeee. lol...
